Activator Methods

This chiropractic treatment protocol and instrument was developed by Arlan Fuhr as an alternative treatment to the hands on manipulation of the spine and extremities.  This technique uses a small spring loaded adjusting instrument to deliver enough corrective force to move the vertebrae or bone without causing injury.  This technique is most commonly used in patients who prefer a low force correction wihout the traditional hands on thrust.

The session begins with the patient laying face down on a chiropractic table.  The chiropractor then performs a series of muscle tests on the patient to determine which vertebrae or bone is in need of correction.  The next step is to assess in which direction correction should be made.  The corrective treatment is then performed.  Treatment begins at the level of the feet and moves up the body towards the head.  As you can see, You are only 1 click away from health.
