I believe in the value of chiropractic care for you and your family toward the goal of achieving total health and wellness. Therefore, I have created a pricing structure that is flexible enough to allow you to get the chiropractic care you need, no matter what your budget. I participate with several insurance programs, but please call us at 616-642-9455 if you have any questions about whether you can use your insurance to pay for your chiropractic care. I accept auto accident and workers compensation cases on a limited basis. Please notify me of auto or workers compensation cases prior to your initial treatment at my clinic.
Participating Insurance Carriers
I participate with several insurance plans including Blue Cross PPO, Medicare Plus Blue, PPOM/Cofinity, Aetna and Aetna Medicare, ASR, and MESSA. Because there are so many insurance plans out there, and because coverage for chiropractic care varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care. I would also suggest that you flip your insurance card over and contact your insurance carrier to verify benefits and coverage with me.
Non Participating Insurance Carriers Are No Problem Here
My goal at Saranac Chiropractic Center is to allow everyone to experience the benefits of chiropractic care and adjustments. I will be honest and tell you that I do not participate with Priority Health, Blue Care Network, PHP or Medicare with the exception of Blue Cross Medicare + Blue and Aetna Medicare. These managed care insurance carriers set various limitations and restrictions to your care. As a non par chiropractor, I have no restriction on your care and therefore can treat you the way I would want to be treated. Remember there will be no deductibles, copays, necessary referrals from your primary care doctor nor limitations on how many regions I can work on. For a reasonable price, I will be able to work on all of your concerns rather than working on one region today and having you come back in 2 days to work on another. I have the ability to work from bottom to top on these individuals at an overall lower price which gives them more bang for their buck. It just might be worth your time to schedule and appointment and see the difference of a Saranac Chiropractic treatment.
Payment is due at the time of service and I can forward your bill to your carrier if you so choose. Many are surprised to discover that chiropractic care is actually extremely cost-effective and affordable. For these patients, chiropractic care is often cheaper and more effective than medical doctors and pain treatments such as pain medications, physcial therapy or invasive surgery. All Medicare Except Blue Cross Medicare + Blue and Aetna Medicare
I stopped participating with traditional Medicare and most managed Medicare plans in 2016 but continue to accept and serve these individuals due to a special arrangement I have with Medicare. All Medicare patients complete a Medicare ABN form prior to services and then on an annual basis. The ABN is a Medicare form that gives the Medicare patient the option to either have your bill forwarded to Medicare for reimbursement or not forwarded to Medicare for reimbursement. In either case, payment is expected at the time of services with the fee determined by which option the patient chooses. Medicare will consider reimbursement for their portion of the bill and then forward the remainder of the bill to your secondary insurance carrier for reimbursement consideration. Many patients have decided that they do not want their bills reimbursed by Medicare. In this case, the patient enters into a private arrangement with me regarding cost and treatment. This special arrangement with Medicare has proven to be beneficial to the patient and myself. Please do not hesitate to discuss this situation with me at any time as patients have the right to change their financial policy each time they come for treatment.
Cash And Wellness Care Are King
Yes, there are many of you out there and the numbers are growing due to insurance carriers high deductibles, high copay and not paying patient bills due to "lack of medical necessity". Cash and Wellness patients receive the same level of care that my insurance patients have grown to expect at Saranac Chiropractic Center. I am able to offer these individuals the same level of care at a lower price because there is no administrative costs to me. This is also the fastest growing group that I work with here at Saranac Chiropractic. Wellness care might be the answer for you so don't hesitate to question me about how this service could benefit you and your family.
Policy
My pledge to you is to help you become healthy and pain-free while using only a small amount of your time and money. As a chiropractor, I will help you care for your most important asset--your health. I truly believe that prevention is the best cure, and regular chiropractic care will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover from pain or an injury after it's happened. I find that a monthly visit is less painful in the pocketbook and more enjoyable than a crisis that may require 2 or 3 visits to resolve. So please, I would like to encourage you to take your health very seriously. As the old saying goes, if you don't have your health, you don't have anything. Unfortunately, too many people don't discover how true that statement is until it is too late.
